Feelin' crafty

Even though she is so cute you could just eat her right up, I thought maybe, just maybe, I should post about something other than the Hads.

So I thought I would share my recent crafty projects. Don't be mistaken though - I am not a craftaholic, I just dabble.

Exhibit A:



I made these invites for a friend's baby shower. I also took the picture shown and a few others (coming soon to my photography blog).

And Exhibit B:



My chore chart! I made these with a friend (let's be honest, she was the brains behind this one). Now that I have a little one I just needed a way to stay on top of housework without being overwhelmed and how hard is one chore a day right? So much easier than trying to get it all done in one day which is what I used to do. So, we put the days of the week:



And made individual (ie. movable) chores.






Cute huh?

4 months.

Ah four months!! Two more to six and then six more to a year....yikes!

Here is my girl at 4 months:



Sigh, tear. She is growing up so fast.

4 month developments:
-She found her feet
-EVERYTHING goes in her mouth
-she has big girl baths - ie. she is in the big bathtub without any props
-she rolls from stomach to back and back to side (not all the way over from her back to stomach quite yet)
-she just seems all around older - super interactive and so fun
-she needs toys to keep her occupied now - no more passive sitting or laying

That's it for now. LOVE this girl!

Little fish.

Hadley went swimming for the first time and she loved it! I was SO happy. But I kind of had an inkling she would cause bathtime is the bean's FAVORITE time of day.

Need a personal trainer?

My sister just graduated from NAIT and is now officially a personal trainer. Her employer required some professional pics of her and given that she has just graduated from student status, the pocket change is still running a little low so I was given the task.

We had fun. And here she is:

The forgotten.

I forgot to share these pictures. I took them about 3 weeks ago but they are just so darn cute that I can't not share them.
















Oh how I love my girl!

Dman says I should have put a headband on her cause she looks like a boy in these pictures so if that is what you are thinking, I have already been told! I say phhhhhhht to that. She is adorably girly.

PS - Isn't it funny how when people have babies their blogs feature nothing else. I have fallen into that trap - can't help it though!

3 months.

The Hads is 3 months old! See, she can prove it:




I can't believe how fast time is flying.

Can I just say, I LOVE BEING A MOM TO THIS GIRL! I seriously feel so blessed that she is a part of my life. I really am not exaggerating or streching the truth when I say that I LOVE being a mom. It is the greatest. Everyday is filled with smiles and laughs. What more could I ask for?

Recent developments include:
-grabbing and putting things into her mouth
-full on laughing
-playing with toys (little toys)
-moved up to big girl bottles (from the 5 oz ones to the 12 oz ones)
-LOVES her jumperoo
-LOVES TV (favorite show is Barney.....yay for me!)

On a side note: I got lots of questions about her onesies in these pictures - it is just a white onesie and I add the logo with photoshop.
